Hi everyone I am seeking for help regarding my sponsorship to mu husband CIC returned our application .
It says we are not able to process as it is incomplete.
missing the ff
1. A newly completed Sponsored Spouse/partner questionnaire (IMM 5490) bearing original signiture. ( But we submitted this form with my husband original signature. All form must be signed and date. Incomplete forms will result in a delay in the processing of your application. For all requested form, question must be answered in full. Details must be provided for every month/ year since age of 18. ( Pls help me with this one is it my hubby's personal history? Do not leave any gaps or blanks. Write NONE in the box if the question is not applicable...
Ex. of what my hubby's did to his personal history goes like this:

And i should re submit the whole package again including the new info before specific date they gave as time frame to submit.

I think I'm driving my self insane, since I bookmarked and check the CIC website everyday, knowing they only update every Wednesday night....
Disappointing that it went from Oct 3rd to Oct 6th in a weeks time. Its usually been 7 days added.
I'm just happy to have advice and moral support from everyone on here. You guys make it that much easier.
How do i get the stats added on the left side under my name?

HEY EVERY ONE,
pLEASE TELL, WHEN 1 GETS HIS FILE NUMBER AFTER SPONSORSHIP APPROVAL, WHETHER CPC-M GIVES IT OR VO ABROAD GIVES THE SAME?
ALSO, TELL HOW A SPONSOR CAN UPDATE HIS EMAIL ID? WE HAVE UCI NO WITH US AND IT IS SHOWING ONLY SPONSOR/PR STATUS ONLY. ECAS IS NOT SHOWING ADDRESS.

Hello about your question how to add status on Profile :
1. Click the Profile in the upper right corner after that
2. At the left side corner you'll see the Modify Information click the Forum Profile Information there you can add your info. about your application

We just received a letter via e-mail from CIC to say that our application to sponsor has been approved. So happy right now as we were not expecting anything until the end of next week!!   Congrats UKGary!!!! I don't understand why some get emails but we did not, they said it was sent by snail-mail... So strange, we gave a valid email address. |

I was able to log in to ecas this morning, 3 days after receiving email of sponsorship approval. Everything in the "Sponsorship Application Status" is accurate; regarding "Permanent Residence Application Status", besides the date the application was received (the same date CPC-M got it), it also states that "medical results have been received." I guess we can safely assume that CPC-M does have access to all info received by VO abroad (e.g., medical results), and thus able to link them to the original file. Just a thought.

I don't think they missed you Lucky rain but I do wonder why some people have much faster processing times than others for both sponsorship and applicant approval! The only thing that I can really think of is that it has something to do with each person's situation. For example, how many family members are been sponsored? Have all fees been paid upfront? Is/are further information/documents required? Although we are all applying in the same way we will not all have the same answers to these questions or to many other questions that CIC might need to know and depending on those answers it would most likely effect the time it takes to be approved. As I'm sure everyone else on here does, I constantly try to calculate how long it will take for my app to be processed based on to time it takes for other applicants but I never know anyone's situation. Right now I am trying calculate how long it will take for my PPR, for the last 2 people applying though the London office it only took 37 days! But I don't know why. The average is 87 days which is a massive difference. I would be interested to know everyone's situation so I could make a more accurate guess for my own approval but I don't really want to ask. |

Hey UKGary,
You have made some very good points. My situation is that I am sponsoring my wife, my baby daughter and my stepson. The vo I'm going through is Guatemala city so wekll see how it pans out. I wish everyone here the best of luck We'll have different experiences and were here to share them. So that's a bit of my background story. Lucky rain we pray u get a response soon
