Hi

For FBI clerance, we sent the FBI form with fingerprints around Sep-2nd. We still dont see the Credit Card being charged as we opted to pay by Credit Card for this service.

Can someone please post any recent experience's on whether the CC/Cheque is charged in the first few weeks itself and whats the best way to get an update from FBI processing center

I  guess this whole clerance thing wont be obtained in 90 days. I got my AOR Aug -26th and I applied for FBI PC on Sep-1st.

I recommend everyone applying for PR, to send the FBI clerance forms very early in the process and not wait for AOR to arrive.

it took me 5 montsh to get it .. fingerprints were rejected first time.

I did sent my documents to the visa office without the report and added it later. I had no option.

I think time is reduced now. you will probbaly get it within 2 months time.

Thanks Simon

I am thinking of sending all my other documents before my due date of Dec-12th or so.
I have no other option as well.

What was the reason given for rejecting the finger prints. I spent $ 30 and went to a agency in Newyork who gave a clean print on the form. I hope it somehow works out.

I sent my finger prints which reached FBI office on July 29th from India. I included my Fedex account information. They charged my credit card on Sep 15th. They sent the police certificate on Sep 23rd & I received it in India on Sep 27th by Fedex.

You can check on the status by calling CJIS Customer Service Group at (304) 625-5590. They told me that you should receive the police certificate in 2-3 weeks since the date the card got charged.

It took me 3 whole months for my FBI clearance to arrive.  Be patient.
