Objections in Student Visa

Hello All,

Last month around (11th dec,2009) my brother had applied for a student visa in Canada for an MBA in Human Resource Management. His education details are , PGDCA , M.Sc.(IT),B.com. However, we got a reply from consulate office that visa has been rejected with following objections -
1) Insufficient family income
2) Course not in line of studies.

Can anyone pl help me with my below doubts-
1) After how much time , shall we re-apply for the visa?
2) How much min family income shall we show to over come the objections
3) Is the course we have chosen not in line, as , as far as I think, MBA(HR) is a generic stream where anyone can get in, with a basic graduation.
4) How should we file in the case, that Visa officer gets convinced that the student is going to come back after his studies.

Sorry to hear that. Here are answers for your questions

1 - There is no limit. You can even apply on the 2nd day of rejection.
2 - It depends in which university your brother is going. But for any Master degree program, he should have atlest 40,000$ (10,000$ for 1st year and all other for fee)
3 - They are right, it does not match with your brother's previous studies. You can consider it generic degree, if he has some professional experience. But as he does not have any experience, then you can only say, he is trying to change his field.
I will suggest go for any IT program. BUT BUT BUT BUT ..... BECAREFUL.. becoz they can say ( SAME COURSE IS AVAILABLE IN YOUR HOME COUNTRY )
4 - You can't do anything with it. I saw so many people who got rejected but their whole family and property was in their home country. While I also some people who got visa and their many bro. & sis were out of country. In my opinion this is generic rejection, they don't tell the exact reason. ( try to read between lines ).

ADVICE:
If you are going to apply again, make a very very good and clear + short answer for each rejection point.
