for the old age pension, this is the requirements:
Scenario 1 - People living in Canada

You must be 65 years of age or older.
You must live in Canada and be a Canadian citizen or a legal resident at the time we approve your pension application.
You must have lived in Canada for at least 10 years after turning 18.

however, does anyone know if the person has to live in Canada for 10 years consecutively?
or would being a resident of Canada for 10 years would comply?

What if you started living in Canada 10 years ago but have travelled each year for about 2-4 months.  Does anyone know if there is a minimum number of days of residence for the year to be eligible?

thanks
