I'm done with my medicals just waiting for PPR. I have almost 6 years experience as NICU nurse and I'm currently working in Jeddah. Bridging courses and stuff take time and a lot of money right? Hope I can just take SEC, better if it won't be required.

Planning to submit next week. I'm torn between CNO and CARNA but I heard there's not much hiring in Ontario. I really don't know which is the place for me, ugh. Migrating alone and it's killing me
wow, congratulations.

6 years is quite a lot of experience, it will be just fine for you. pray that you will just be granted to sit the CRNE immediately. are going back to phils before going to canada? i suggest you do, since you will be needing documents from your school and prc as well to be sent directly to the nursing body you choose. im not sure about CNO, but i do see alot of nurses applying to CNO. but i have opted to go for CARNA, since we will be landing there once my hubby applies for FSW category, as his brother is there.
anyway... as regards to th bridging, yes it would be quite expensive, especially if you take it as a foreigner under student visa, for the whole bridging course it would be around $8000++ CAD, but if you enroll as a PR already, it will be half the price. but since i have not practiced nursing since i graduated last 2008, i know i need some bridging/refresher,
if my result from CARNA states i need to go for bridging i will first apply under student visa, and take the bridging course. let me know what you decide on: CNO or CARNA.

Godbless us!
