Hi Jimmy,
It appears that at the very least, CIC require 2 years work experience in your chosen profession. I am not sure what this would be for medicine and care but I would suspect the same. In terms of processing, you should expect at least a 2-3 year wait before your application is completed.
When a family intend to immigrate to Canada, all memebers of the faily are assesed as part of the main applicants case. Points on your background, education, skills, health etc will be counted and used to determine whether your family could make a positive impact in Canada or whether you would be a drain on resources such as medical care, unemployment etc.
If I were you I would contact an immigration consultant as soon as possible and discuss your case with them. They will very quickly be able to tell you whether or not your family would qualify.
If you would like some further reading, you should go to the following URL and study all the manuals etc. The rules and procedures are extremely complex and often ambiguous - this is why forums like this exist. If you have any questions then please come back and someone here will try and help you as best we can. In the meantime, read this and I wish you and your family every success.
