I have to redo my medical because I think it will expire before I get my visa (assuming I get it Wink !!)
I canīt remember how many photos I took with me last time. Does anyone know - my visa office is in London if that matters.

Thank you,

Bea Lily

Sorry i do not know the answer you looking for.

BUT Isn't medical report good for a year before it expire?

I think a year is plenty of time for CIC to clear you out.

Anyways if i were you i would wait until i am ask to redo med-exame.

For medical two photos may be needed. Always keep a set of 4 or 6 photos with you, till you land Canada. Can use as per requirement. . Usually the studios make 6 prints for one rate.

I'm not sure either, but I agree that you should wait until it expires to re-do it. They last for one year so check when yours should expire...they will request another one if they need one.

Thanks for your answers.

The problem is that we are applying outland but Iīm mostly staying in Canada. So I did the medical in November last year, and then went to Canada and was going to finish the application. It then took us way too long to get it ready and didnīt sent it in until July!! (I know, not very smart). Now Iīm going to Canada again in few weeks, my medical will expire in 50 days and we only got the sponsorship approved few weeks ago.
If I understand things correctly then I have to get my medicals done in my home country, not in Canada, so I have to get them done before I leave. Itīs going to be more of a hassle (and more expensive) if I wait for them to ask me to redo them, than getting them done now I think.

Do you think if will cause me any kind of problems redoing it before they ask for a redo?

you can get your redo anywhere as long as its a DMP so if you are in Canada you can do it and then send the proof to London that it has been done again doing it before prompt is at your own risk but as long as a DMP does it you should be fine

Thank you for that.
Itīs good to know that I can get it done in Canada....now Iīm almost tempted to go to Canada and hope and wait that I actually get approved before my medical expires. But on the other hand I also just want to go ahead with my plan and get the medical done again and hope everything works out that way.
