Now I am in mumbai, india. Way to Canada. In Dhaka airport I got a fascinated freshers reception from Jet Airway's Authority also from immigration officers. Moreover, immigration officer did not ask me any single words about anythings. Just saw my passports, put on seal and forwarded. Also they did not show any interest about my handcash. Note that Jet Airways did not create any problem about my bags. I carried (24x6+7.3x3) kgs as well.

Well, WELCOME HOME THEN!  You timed it well to arrive after the threat of snow has gone for this year.  Hope you find everything you need and settle in soon.  All the best.  Congratulations!

Congrats Tonu on making your safe landing. Hope things are going fine with your settlements. All the best mate. Just wondering whether you can elaborate a bit on Jet airways (We have it here in AUS) travel experiences, fare and routes... when you find time.. have they launch any new services from BD? Take care and enjoy your time

Congrats Tonuda. Enjoy the great time in Canada. Cool

Kindly give more details on Jet airways experience...like seats/leg space , food and overall service , which country u took a transit?
Let me know in length all about ur luggage allowance on Jet Airways...how much is allowed free in checked-in baggage and hand baggage??? You mentioned (24x6+7.3x3) kgs baggage u carried , it was for how many members in ur family ??
I am also planning to opt for the same from Mumbai to Toronto in august 2011.

Your info will be of great help to me . Thanx  Smiley

Hi dear we were total three members. Officially they declare (23x2+7) kgs for each but they accept till 24x2 kgs as luggage and 7.5 kgs in hands for one passenger as well. I came from Bangladesh that's why mine transit was 2 e.g., Mumbai and London.

Jet air ways is very cheaper than other services from bd. It was BDTK. 55500 for each whether ethhad was BDTK 94,000 also turkish airways BDTK. 88,000. Only problem for jet air from bd is we have to stay in Mumbai near about 9 hrs otherwise everythings is very good. Also they providing Boeing plane from Mumbai to London. The jet air authority providing lounge facilities in mumbai where you can take available foods which one you want to take(free of cost) and unlimited internet access. Thats all, take care
