Hello guys,
I have sent my application package on nov 2011 to buffalo office. It was arrived at buffalo on 18th nov 2011. Then my draft was encashed on 20th dec 2011 but I haven't received any email from cic yet not even about wheather they have received my application or not and it doesn't show anything on e-CAS about my application. I have called to the call centre, they said that they don't have access to buffalo files. Then I tried to contact buffalo too but they don't allow phone enquiry. Now my concerns are:
Is it normal that they don't send any email after receiving application till they start processing the file? And am I still under normal processing time or late? Should I wait few more weeks or should I email to buffalo office already?
Please give me some advice guys. I truly appreciate your help.

Hi, how did you find out when your application was receive? In e-cas ? if yes ..can you share how long did it take for your ecase to be updated?

It's normal for the application to be processed for a few months before you hear anything back from CIC. Just be patient, you'll either receive your File Number via mail or e-mail. Just keep checking back and once you get it, you should be fine. |

there's another thread with some people discussing their November applications. I'm one of them and my timeline so far is:
sent application 3 november 2011
received application 4 november 2011
AOR received 2 February 2011
My application has also been transferred from Buffalo to CPP-O in Ottawa, which i was notified of at the same time as receiving my AOR. I have yet to receive a request for medicals.

Just wanted to update u guys....I got my AOR this morning and it's transferred to Ottawa. Hope I will get my medical soon. However, just wondering so getting AOR means my application package is complete and they won't return my package anymore right? If they need anything then they should ask just that specific item instead of returning the whole package? Please let me know. And congtrates pdo...u r getting there good luck! |

My file was transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa on Feb 22nd. So far status on eCAS still shows as Application received. Any one of you've got recent update on your application status? Thanks.
