I took my husband to the airport today...I really hate saying good-bye to him.  This immigration process is so HARD sometimes. This is the first time we don't have our next visit planned because we're hoping the next time we see each other it will be because I am moving to him. Sorry to unload...I am just sad, and anxious for this process to move forward. Thank goodness November is starting soon. |

I'm really sorry you're sad, guess we're all more or less in the same situation. Don't be upset to let it out here - it's also the function of the forum, right? Hopefully this will all be over in a few months and all this suffering and waiting and hoping can only make our relationships stronger. Having spent Xmas alone has had a terrible effect on me, I know what you feel. But I'm sure that the best days of our lives are soon to start. |

It's heartbreaking saying goodbye and knowing that you have so little control over the next step. I can't tell you how many times I've felt like if only I could get a CIC officer to spend a few hours with us or even just listen in on one of our phone calls, they'd approve us in a heartbeat and we could skip all this frustrating crap. My husband and I just keep telling ourselves we'll make it through this because we have to...there's no alternative. We're in this for life, what's a few months compared to the lifetime of memories together that awaits us? One day we'll be sitting in our home together looking back on these days as just a small hurdle. Those are the thoughts tht get us through  |
