Does anyone know how long I have to wait before I am able to add a picture and footnote to my profile to track my info?

Our application is officially on it's way to Mississauga.  It should be there tomorrow.  My husband and I join the ranks of November applicants.  Cheesy

I am equal parts relieved the application is finally done, and anxious because now it's all out of our control.  Here is to hoping for speedy processing.

And good luck to the rest of my fellow applicants!

Welcome SoC!! We certainly can relate to the sense of relief yet increase in anxiety.  Hopefully CIC is catching up on some of that summer backlog and we'll see reduced waiting times Smiley

Thanks mosh951 and ZP!

And I hope the backlog is being taken care of...I was poking around in other threads and it seems like so many people are waiting.  It's hard to believe that anything is being done.

I remain vigilant.

What is everyone's story?  Are you Inland/Outland?  I figure we're going to be here for at least six months, we might as well get to know one another. Cheesy

Hi everyone Smiley

I've been waiting for a November 2011 applicants thread to pop up - I'm glad it finally has!

Call me impatient, but it's only been 15 days and I'm already getting antsy... Does anyone know when the Sponsor Processing times on the CIC website are likely to be updated? It says it's updated weekly so I'm hoping for some good news soon *Crosses fingers that the waiting times will miraculously be reduced to 30 days* (yeah, right!)  Grin

I am tracking our package through Purlolator, since that's the shipping company my husband used, and the status should be delivered, instead it says "address correction required via Mississauga, ON depot".  And not I am freaking out...Sad

Did you send your application via courier? If so, which address did you send it to?

For courier services I believe it should be this address:

2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 1200
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

Stay calm, it will get there  Smiley

From what I can see on their website, I think Purolator would be considered a courier service.

I was told that couriers can't deliver to P.O Boxes, and so they have another address listed on the CIC website specifically for courier drop-offs.

Perhaps you can contact Purolator, explain the mix-up and see if they can amend the delivery address?

I called Purolator...while the woman I spoke to was nice, she was unhelpful.  She basically told me the same thing the website did, she said the address was "corrected" and it would be shipped.  But she couldn't tell me what the new address is...so I have no idea.  I asked her if there was someone I could speak to or someplace I could call to find out what they used as the amended address and she said there was no way for her to find out that information.  I could cry right now Sad.

I know it's awful - but still only a minor set-back in the grand scheme of things. They'll probably attempt a re-delivery tomorrow morning, and what's one more day? It'll get there just fine, they're all professionals and they'll find out where it should be. And at least you can track it which is a bonus - you'll be able to see soon where it's been delivered to so try not to worry (easier said than done, I know!).

Hang in there Smiley

Thank you Louise86.  I am attempting to remain calm.  My husband said the same thing, it's just one more day.  I am just nervous of it not getting to the right place and it getting lost wherever it does wind up.

But...trying not to think about that.  >.>
