I have no clue, we got thru so fast the visa doesnt expire until oct/25...I dont know what he is waiting for. scared maybe not sure. I am really not happy about it.
I can understand scared. It's a big move. Maybe he just needs some time to let the reality of it to really sink in...in the mean time. I will pray on it for you. Hopefully he will process the information and get his butt up there with you soon. Hang in there.

I'm in the same boat as u, my wife got her PP with Visa back in end of March also and she said she not ready to come yet. She wants to wait and come in June and told me her reason she wants to go to her provinces Fiesta with her family end of May then she said she will come but im the same was excited that it was over. Then when she told me June that she would come the excitement for me left because i was hoping within April that she would come but i guess i have to understand her point of it will be a while before she can go back to her family to visit because is expensive to fly there so she wants to spend the Fiesta with her family then come in beginning of June

AWWW! Yes I understand in your situation, in mine though it was business that was keeping him there, and timing for me that would work out better if he came end of this month...so after a few tears and explaining all that to my husband and telling him I feel so disappointed, he sorted out and told me to book the ticket end of this month!!!!! Communication and love are awesome!! Now my next hurdle is finding a cheap one way flight lol, the price right now is making me weakkkkk!

I am so happy to hear that!! You're right, when you're in this long distance thing, communication is so important. I am glad you guys got it worked out. Woo hoo! My husband and I just got our plane tickets for the end of May, so my COPR better come this week. My husband is going to fly here, help me with the last of the packing and then we load everything into the POD and visit with my family, then leave for Edmonton on May 23. I cannot wait for this whole ordeal to be over with...and I know what you mean about the plan tickets. What we paid for his round trip, my one way and our two cats makes me want to cry. Ugh. I am not going anywhere for at least a year. Tired of forking over money to the airlines.

From Phillippines? Yea thats a shame, but my husband is a little closer. So thats probably why airfare is cheaper. I generally spend 400-500 on a roundtrip ticket to see him however it jus so happen that when we were looking for his one way to come the prices I was seeing was 600-900...I wasnt ok with spending that kind of money, we just dont have it so I was glad to find this one.

Wow that sounds expensive. Maybe the short notice! I don't know. My round trips from Calgary through Manila to Davao only cost about $1500.

Dear All,
I would greatly appreciate some advice on the following timelines / case:
As a brief b/g my timelines are as follows: - Application was received on Nov 23, 2011 - We received a correspondence of Sponsorship approval on Jan 24 in which they also indicated file was xferred to Buffalo. - Feb 23 my husband received a correspondence that his file is in Buffalo. - April 10 my husband received a letter stating: We have now completed the initial assessment of your application, and expect to finalize your application without a personal interview. While an interview does not appear necessary at this time, we reserve the right to call you to an interview, should this become necessary at some future stage in processing. Additional documents required: No additional documents are required at this time. Medical information: We have received the results of your medical examination.
My Qs: - Is this (latest correspondence) an AOR or In Process (E-Cas still shows application received under his name) - What happens after? - When do you think they may send a PPR? - What happens after a PPR comes in? - Do they ever reject at a stage when they send a PPR? - How much time would he have to wrap up?
I would greatly appreciate your advice and support on this.
Warm Regards, EagerFever
