Today it's Nov. 30, 2011 it's been a month since my hubby sent our application  Sad  I felt like its' been there in CPC-M for a long time and we still need more days to past by, this waiting game is killing me... Pls God give me more strength  Cry

Hi 0jenifer0 I understand how you feel, but don't loose hope, Just remember that we are all in this together. Thinking too much about the timeline can make the suffering unbearable so stay positive and smile  Smiley

Funny enough, I feel like it gets more difficult after the file is sent, because you no longer have control of anything.  Just as sh7228 mentioned, we are all in this together, so let's take comfort in knowing that.  Timelines are going down, so we will hear back before you know it.  Hang in there.

Hi Futurista! Don't worry - I've been checking the processing times daily, despite knowing that they're only updated weekly! And you're totally right - its all about maintaining a degree of control, I think. Still, I suppose if it makes us feel better or like we're at least doing something proactive then it can't hurt! Smiley

Which VO are you applying through?

You're absolutely right, Louise86!  Looking even when you know the times haven't changed sounds ridiculous, but somewhat helps, too.  And control...such a fine line.  To be honest, most days are great as Hubby's the rational one out of the both of us.  Grin

I`m applying out of the Rabat, Morocco VO.  What VO are you applying through?

This...omg.  I so agree.  I thought I would feel less stress after I sent the application.  Nope.  It's worse.  *sigh*

These boards are my saving grace.  Although, sometimes I read another persons experiences and it just ratchets up my stress and worry.  So, trying to take it with a grain of salt.

Well, there was the holiday.  And at least they changed the date they are looking at, so that's good.

Hello,

I'm new in this forum, want some suggetions from u guys:

As i married to a Canadian PR this year and ready to mail our file this week.
I want to know that at the time of our marriage, my father who is in UK couln't come to attend it because he is not PR/Citizen in the UK.
Kindly tell if there 'll be any problem with our case as my father was not present at the marriage (my mom and all other relatives and friends were there)
also parents of my spouse were there.

Need Suggestions.

Thanks.

I think I saw this answered in another thread, but no I don't think it's a huge problem, but you should explain it in your supporting documentation, that way there is no question.
