Hi Friends,

Got the documents attested from (Punjab) INDIA. The attestation seal is round in blue color with name and phone number of the Notary Public. and another stamp in red color with text "To Take Effect Outside INDIA"

Is this correct attestation or should the round seal be in red color?

I am confused?

Please suggest

Hi Pankaj

U need not to worry about that. this is a common scenario in India. my docs were submitted with same stamps. so chill out and don't think about it too much. it's a normal thing.

regards.

Attestation is of two types for this purpose. You have got attestation which is valid in India and outside India as well, which is acceptable. other one is the one only valid in India which one round stamp with notary stamp.

Do not worry its fine

For my information I have got my documents attested and they have only put the round seal of notary.
I have not come across the other seal which is "valid for outside India". Is it mandatory to have on documents?

Yes it fine. You do not need any other stamp. Valid outside India is required when you send your documents outside your home country. So the stamp you have is 100 % fine
