Hi Everyone, next month i will be sending my application to cic now that i have been nominated, i understand my documents have to be notarised, i called my bank and they said they can not notarise them but they can stamp each document to confirm they are a true copy, is this good enough ?. if so is just a stamp ok or would it also require a signature ? Help advice is appreciatted.
Thanks

If you are in Calgary, then here is list of people who will attest:

If you are in Lethbridge, then here is list of people who will attest:

In general, Notary public do stamp and signature both. You don't have to worry about anything just take originals, photocopies and one kind of Id like Drivers License/Passport to Notary public.

Yes, the seal on the docs saying that it is a true copy is what is required.
