Many of us are waiting for the CIC minister to give the consolates "marching orders" (It's the best description I could think of) in terms of Job Lists and protocol for handling of the applications submitted to Buffalo and other locales after February 27th. My fiance in Alberta informed me that Canada's government is on Summer Holiday right now and will not re-convene until September at the earliest. We are speculating that the CIC minister is also on Holiday (Since the Minister works (maybe) with the government in Ottawa) and will not send anything to anybody (orders or otherwise) until after Spetember 1st or so. This makes me believe that all of us waiting for AOC's from Buffalo and everywhere else will not get any action on our applications at all until September.

Can anyone confirm this or at least give any indication if what my fiance and I are assuming is correct? Or maybe someone has a different take.

It sounds like true that CIC members are on holidays, my application for post graduation work permit is taking much longer than usual. I contacted the CIC agents and they asked me to have passions:)

That might be true cause l have not had a reply from Bufalo and it about 4 months now
He could any one tell me why they say the new laws are advantages to people in America and how they saw people with H1b in the US have a special program with Alberta provincial nominee program?
