Hi  My husband is principal applicant and myself and two children were approved through sponsership to travel to canada.  Do we have to all travel together or can one follow later.  Tks   anxious to hear

The principal applicant has to arrive first, the dependents must land within the validity of their visa.

Hi PMM

I have q here

If Prinicipal applicant stayed more than 3 years applied for Citezenship , if family not joined till he gets the citizenship ! can he sponse dependents ?  how toufgh get into this route , insteat of taking the entire family and struggle in canada ! does it make sense ?

He can come alone or with everyone else... He has to land first, after that you can do as you wish (within the visa validity). The only restriction is that the dependents cannot come first without the principal applicant before he has landed.

the complete process for citizenship will take longer than 3 years. by that time dependents can qualify for citizenship too.

if you don't want your dependents to accompany you, you just mention them as not accompanying, this way you can sponsor them any time after your receive you PR or citizenship.
