We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on July 4, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Just spoke to someone at CIC..  i ask the lady how long will it take  to get my exam date...  the  lady went and check ... to my surprise i was told not until December... 
July 2011
Februrary 2012 (processing)
December 2012( maybe an exam date)  Sad

scaroborough office covers a big area. markham, richmond hill, north york are all under scarborough office. that is region where most new immigrants make their home. plus a lot of candidate did not speak english well by either not passing interview or the written test, that added further time for officers processing these applications.

Scarborough Applicants....

Here is my time lines...

File Tfr to CIC Scarborough Nov 1 2011
Citizenship Test given May 2012
Recvd Oath letter in Aug 2012
Oath Date is in Sep 2012...
