Hello everyone,

Getting straight to the point.

I am a bit distressed about my current situation.  I have a boyfriend in Chile, to whom I have been in contact.  It has been a long distance relationship for over three years and nine months, and still we are very attached to each other.

We have discussed future plans and we both feel that he should immigrate to Canada within the following year if possible.   I sort of have an idea on what he and myself must do.  But I feel there is a lot I am missing.

He can easily be considered a Conjugal Partner.  But I have no idea how to prove our long term relationship.
I am looking for advice on how to prove such a thing.  And is such a relationship enough grounds to step forward towards a pertinent resident Visa?

The CIC website is really not a big help. any advice for this situation would be wonderful.

Hi

But if there are no impediments to marriage or living in a c/law relationship for 1 year, then the conjugal application has an extremely slim chance of being approved.
