Hello,

I'm a British national who is interested in living and working in Canada. I have a 2 year college diploma and over 10 years accounting experience in the accounting field. I have a 2 year old but not the funds right now to apply under the skilled work programme although I will in a couple of yrs. I am thinking about applying for a job in the accounting field in Toronto because I understand that if you have a job offer, you won't need all the funds specified in the Skilled Worker Application.

What is your advise?

Thx

Well if you can get a job offer, you should definitely take advantage of that.  It's very difficult to get a job offer from overseas, though.

You could do both - look for a job and also start saving money for your skilled worker application.

You might also consider getting the required funds from your parents (if they're in a position to give it to you).

Remember the funds can't be legally "borrowed."  They must actually be yours.

Good luck.
