Not receiving emails from CIC or Buffalo..please help.

I finally received a return email from CIO regarding my app. It was mailed on 7/1/2011 and my CC was charged on 8/1/2011. The response states "Your file was assessed by our office and a letter was sent to you, via email, on 22 Sept 2011. Your file was subsequently transferred to the visa office and all further enquiries should be directed to that office."

I did not receive any letter or email. I have not received anything from Buffalo Visa office regarding receipt of the application.

I am not sure why I am not receiving any letters or emails.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

can anyone tell me how to reach CIO Nova Scotia? I mean there email address and number? Please help.. I passed my application last September and i think I didn't make it.Please...

Here r the answers to ur question

1. Buffalo does not send you any notification when they receive the file from CIO
They will notify u only if they want more docs or for MR/PCC requests etc.

2. CIO sends an email when they transfer the file to buffalo.

3. In ur case, it is suggested they send u that email / mail on Sept 22. 2011.
If u havent received it, it could be any of the reasons : either u havent provided them email in the application or the email addr was misspelled.

It looks like your received a PER as you application was forwarded to Buffalo, did you receive your PER via email?  I am also a Buffalo applicant and I received my PER on Sept 1, and I did receive an email from Buffalo on Oct 4th via email.  Did you check your spam folder, it may have been placed there.
