You will shortly receive a letter from Canadian Revenue Authority , asking details of your and spouse last year world income. Send that detail and it will be processed thereafter.

I see a lot (lots & lots) of threads by Mr. Mohiuddin regarding all possible free benefits by the Canadian Govt. Why? don't you work? Don't you have any funds? Did you come to Canada only for these?

And now applied, waiting for the monies, & hue-n-cry too?

Well, it is his right to claim the child benefit since he is now a PR and is entitled to it as well. Won't you do the same if you were in his position?

I think we should not be quick to judge
especially when we are unaware of the facts,

20 % of new immigrants are unable to find jobs,
he may just be apart of that statistics,

we are not going to get jobs, as we land
its a process that most of us will have to go through

So lets lighten up

O-o Bobby -- u haven't read all his threads (not posts) regarding same queries, else u would know what we r talking. How about 11 threads on the same matter? And many having answers on them too (correct ones), yet once again ... And now asking when the money would come ... Irritating, you bet brother!

Appreciate your concerns and can understand where you are coming from. However, let's condone and tolerate such posts and threads also.
You never know why he is so desperate about the issue.

He is withinn his legal rights to claim child tax benifit. I have seen that people who own million dollar homes also chaim child tax benifits. We should not feel bad on it. I have come to know that many new immigrants/ jobless people / international students line up to take benifits from Food Bank in Mississauga.   It is their wish and we should not comment on this.
