 I have sent my Application from India and   i have not got my (file no) nor any  other document  my application reached  canada skilled worker intake office on 16-10-2009.  Can any one  tell me when i will  get  any  letter  From there and after how many days

It takes between 2 to 3 months to get responce from the CIO.

I got that after 7 weeks.

the response time used to a month in the starting of this year (2009) chnaghed to 2 months in the mid and now it is 2-3 months, I myself applied to Sydney NS on 25th July and Got my AOR email from Sydney NS on 21st October.

I am curently waiting for my AOR from CIO. Its been more than 60 days, i have not received any email or my credit card cashed . In ur case it seems that it took solid 3 months.. is that right? could you share your experience? thank you

Yes it took almost 3 months in my case to receive AOR from Sydney NS.

Smoking habit will not be a problem for them, as long as you do not have diseases like TB...

AOR from where? from CIO-NS or from your local visa office? if this is from CIO-NS, then you've been given a deadline of 120 days to submit your full application with supporting documents to your local visa office. if you have already submitted full application to your local visa office and you received an AOR from your local visa office, then sit back and relax as there's nothing you are required to do at this stage. they will themselves let you know of the next things to be done.
