Family Sponsorship Spouse

I am sponsoring my Costa Rican husband who is still in Costa Rica. We have 2 daughters who are Canadian citizens ( born in San Jose Costa Rica). The girls are with me in Canada.
Are the girls mentioned in the sponsorship agreement as Non Accompanying dependent children?

No, your daughters are Canadian citizens.  "Dependent children", for the purposes of the immigrant's application, are foreign national children of the applicant, under the age of 22 and not married, who may or may not be accompanying the applicant to Canada.

There are places in the application where you'll include information about your children, but they are not included on Form IMM0008.

Married Sept '06 after 4 yr LDR.  Applied via outland ap in March 2007 -  refused Jan '08 due to inadmissible adult "dependent child".  Appeal filed Jan '08; still waiting for resolution.
