Hi All

Recently I have applied for Canadian Immigration under Federal Skilled Worker category, and my application is returned back to me after 1 and half month, saying that

"Your Submission does not meet the requirement of an acceptable application as set out regulation 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. (See Appendix C)."

I am on H1B Visa here in USA. and my company gave the designation as Programmer Analyst, I am working as Peoplesoft Administrator/DBA,

I have submitted a fee of $550 Canadian dollars. JP MorganChase Check
I have given the NOC code as 213, should i give 0213?

I would like to know

1). How much is the application fee?
2). NOC code for Peoplesoft Administrator/DBA ?

any idea

Please let me know

Thanks to All

What job duties you provided for 0213? Did you send the money order of 550 in CAD?

I dont think they will reject just bcos you put 213 instead of 0213.

My Job Roles & Responsibilities/duties are as follows:

Installation, configuration of Peoplesoft software which includes PeopleTools, Applications (Ex: HRMS/HCMS, Financial, CRM, EPM, Portal), and the 3rd party supporting software's (Ex: Tuxedo, Web Logic, OAS, Java), Load the data into the database, applying updates, patches,  fixes, bundles, maintenance packs, creating the Peoplesoft servers (Ex: Application server, Batch server and Web servers), maintenance & troubleshoot the Peoplesoft server issues and support the development team & Production jobs.

Some times some of the database administration tasks also (Ex: Creating empty Database) and then load the Peoplesoft Data in to the database.

I am an Indian citizen,

I have worked for various companies and they gave my designation as their company standards, for example i have got Programmer Analyst when i applied H1B visa, before that i worked in India, and the designations i have given by the different companies are System Engineer, Peoplesoft Administrator, Software Engineer.

Under Work Experience i have given the Occupation as Programmer Analyst (213 as NOC code), System Engineer (0213 as NOC code), Peoplesoft Administrator (0213 as NOC Code), Software Engineer (0213 as NOC Code)

so here is the question comes:

In fact i have given the NOC code as 213 for the Programmer Analyst, and for the other designation i have given as 0213, They haven't marked or highlighted for the others.

The Canadian Immigration marked/Highlighted on Programmer Analyst NOC code 213 and written as INVALID

Today i checked the NOC codes,

2171 Analyst, information technology (IT)
2172 Database Analysts and Data Administrators
2173 Software Engineers and Designers (Looks like Closest to my responsibilities)

Thank You

Afjal,

I am sorry but your job duties do not correspond to 0213- IT system manager. I guess this is the issue. To apply job duties should match as closely as possible to those on site. http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/English/NOC/2006/Profile.aspx?val=0&val1=0213

Look at this thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/job-responsiblities-guidance-needed-spec-from-noc-0213-people-t22330.0.html
