Hi All

I have a work permits with
5 months  -  NOC 9990.2 (Embedded sys software designer) in year 2008-2009
12 months - NOC  9990.2 (Embedded sys software designer) in year 2010
12 months - NOC 9990.5 (Software Developer - Services) in year 2011

Current work permit - NOC 2283 (Software testing technican)

In all the above periods my duties match with the NOC 2283. Not sure why my employer processed my earlier work permits as NOC 9990.2 and NOC 9999.5.

Can i use different NOC codes in schedule 8 form for the past 3 years of experience. If yes can you please suggest the appropriate NOC codes

Appreciate your help..

The 9000 series of NOC codes were for the 7 IT jobs that didn't require a LMO.  Now, that all the IT jobs require a LMO except some jobs in BC/Quebec, you have use the correct NOC.

I am in a confusion now what to do with noc code.

My actual duties are software testing engineer.

Does my role or duties should a embedded software designer if my work permit is showing NOC 9990.2 (Embedded sys software designer).

My cec application was refused as i have not provided employee reference letter. i used NOC 2173 and role as SOFTWARE ENGINEER in schedule 8 form.

need a direction from some one to go ahead with my next application.

Plzzzzzzzzzzz help...
