NOC 7265 - Welder Category

Hi All

My brother and I are interested in applying for Canada Immigration. My brother who is a metallurgist had worked for 2 years in the capacity of welder in Muscat,later on he moved to the foundry section of a steel mill. He had NOT done 3 year apprentice programme. But he had done 4 years degree in Metallurgy and had studied welding courses in that 4 years degree programme, will he be eligible to apply against the NOC 7265 category.

2.1. You should have performed 90% of the Main Duties
2.2. You should meet the Educational Qualifications closely enough
3. Educational credentials and Experience Papers must be true/authentic and in english
4. Get in touch with the Canadian Welding Association. Welding is a regulated job here. http://eng.cwbgroup.org/Pages/default.aspx
