Dear experts,
I need your valuable reply.

My E-cas shows in process.
I got a letter from CHC that expressed:

You have got the pass mark 67.         
According to section 76(3) the officer believes the point total is not a sufficient indicator of whether or not the applicant may become economically established in Canada.

The letter also marked on my IELTS score which is 3 Moderate and one basic.

I have 60 days to send my opinion ti the CHC.

What can I do???

hi,IELTS score  is very important now a days.what was your exact score in ielts in each module?

Hi,

If you have not submitted your IELTS result then visa officer will give you the english language points according to your qualification and what he thinks you english level is and since you have done specialization in english language and know french as well i dont think it will be a problem and you will get good points. If by any chance (hope not) visa officer is not happy he/she will ask you to submit IELTS.

          Thanks for the reply i am waiting. At one point i wanted to write. but they have not asked me so i decided to let it go. If they ask me then i will do it if i am asked.

Hi Maaties ,
               I am at Abidjan visa office. I am a little relax, because i am not alone. I also have another friend who is with me at the same visa office and he is waiting for medicals also. There are also a couple of 2009 still pending and waiting for medicals.

I would say atleast 6 in each band nothing less than that.

One guy from the forum who had low IELTS was given a date to reply about the low IELTS and another query about his application. With regard to IELTS, they said he would not be able to set himself up economically in Canada. He was under 4131.

But he got the other query sorted out and he replied to say that he will learn English once he gets to Canada and gave details how he will do it. His application went back to in-process despite him not doing IELTS again. Perhaps he got lucky, perhaps his explanation was good. Its hard to say. If I wanted to make sure that they have no query about my English, I would try get at least 12, if not 14 out of 16.

This is purely my opinion. I am no expert.

               Long time i did not hear from you. Last time you asked me about my visa office. I said it is Abidjan. I am still waiting also.
I did not take IELTS as i applied under the rule before the new one. I wrote a written explanation. English is my first language, all studies carried out in English, specialized  in English language and also have completed Master's Degree and eligible to do Doctoral studies in English.  I hope all goes well with my application. 

I have also found some member from the forum also waiting like me. Just waiting to see what happens but getting ready to order caips.

I didn't answer because you said you were more relaxed so I thought you had gotten the answer you required.

I don't know much about Abidjan office. If you had answered Buffalo, then my timelines would have given you an indication on the waiting time. Do you know other people from Abidjan who got visa without IELTS.

I guess if your case went into process, i think it means that they deemed it okay that you don't have your IELTS.

I did not get any answer yet from them,  I am still waiting, i am sure it will only be in 2011, that i will hear from them. Just being patient.

I know one guy from Abidjan, but i did not ask him , if he took IELTS, but both of us are waiting for medicals. His application went into process in March and mine in June. So we are all  waiting.

Yes, let me see what comments others will give.
