NOC 4121

in the NOC website it says that for the NOC 4121 University professor you can be a (lecturer-University) and fall under that section. I was a lecturer in a University in the English language but i had a Master's Degree back then so is that an NOC 4121 or a NOC 4131 College and Other Vocational Instructors?? by the way i now have a PH.D. in the same subject and i give lectures so i know that i qualify for the NOC 4121 now, but i only have less than a year job experience whilst i had 5 years experience with my Masters Degree

Maximus, your query is very unclear on the issue of job experience. You can qualify under 4121 if your job reponsibility matches that of the NOC. That is what is most important.

i just want to know if my 5 year master degree experience falls under the NOC 4121 or 4131, and if it falls different from my current NOC which is 4121 then am i eligible to apply under NOC 4121 and still claim experience years for my Master degree's 5 years job experience as it still falls under the NOC charter

Officer Must:
• not take into account whether the applicant meets the “Employment requirements”
description set forth in the NOC for the occupation(s) listed;
• award points only if the applicant has performed the actions described in the lead statement
of the particular NOC description and has performed at least a substantial number of the
duties described in the “Main Duties” summary – including all the essential duties (R80(3));

so if u have a master degree and has been teaching for 5 years in university,so u can apply under NOC 4121
