 @ bugslife...

is your cousin working as a PTA or doing some survival job??
why is he preparing for NPTE...in canada we need to take PCE...it's exam pattern is different from NPTE.

is he planning to go US..??

He is doing survival job as of now... He is planning for USA. His dream and destiny is USA. Moreover PCE is much difficult and expensive compare to NPTE...

Hi hotheart,

If you want to prepare for NPTE from here at this moment not strictly needed, you can start after your medicals or after 2nd AOR. Preparation is needed before taking the exam.. Coz as of now your are waiting for your AOR. I advise you to startup with Sullivan Rehab book and basic PT books [most part of the exam covered by basics to be frank]. The imp' book is 'BLUE BOOK'.

Hi All,

My spouse has applied under the 3142 as she is a physio, we have received the medical cert. request(oct 2010) as we have sent the docs on April to New delhi... My point is what to do after you get the immigratin. do we have any info regarding if you can get assitance PT jobs? or can you go to USA if you have the PR and give NPTE ?

 @ kanablue..

once you got the immigration...start her credential evaluation process from Canadian Physiotherapy Association..but if you r planning your future in USA, then she has to take NPTE and likewise has to do credential evaluation from Physiotherapy council in USA..

but suppose she got the job in USA, then how come you guys make your Canadian citizenship requirements.??

well..m not sure..but one can get PTA jobs in Canada only as it is not regulated as yet...but not sure whether recruiters require any canadian experience or not???

so, dear choose btw Canada or USA..it require different approach altogehter.
all the best..!!

Hi,

I just wanna ask, Me and my fiance getting married on December here in the phils. my fiance is Canadian. few days after wedding he will be back to Canada. and our next step is to file the immigration application for me as a spouse and for my daughter. yes i have love child.she is 10 yeasr old. my question is do i need to ask the father of my kid to sign any legal documents or something? bcoz ever since that i gave birth i never seen him his name not even in the birth certificate of my child. it was only my name who is listed in my child`s birth certificate and it says there i am a single parent.
what are the essential documents do i need to prepare for her?aside from passport and her medical records?

Thank you so much and advance merry Christmas to everyone here. hugs!

hey little jai...

welcome on board....!!

I suggest you to hire an immigration consultant...as filing an application as a spouse is not that simple as of skilled applicant.

You need plethora of documents from your husband...like his Canadian passport, his tax statements, a marriage certificate by relevant authority...sponsorship letters...and hell lot of things..

its very complicated...better to consult some professional.

all the best...

Hi guys,

Anyone know how many applications have been received by the CIO for Physios so far? Are they still within the 1000 cap for our profession. I am only witing on one more document before I send off my application. My visa office is London
