Two questions:

I fit NOC 1122 'the best', however strictly speaking there's a couple of other NOC's which are probably more relevant to what I do. However, I can make my job experience 'fit' the description of the NOC 1122, so how do they verify that you're actually doing what you say you do? (luckily I have Business Degree, which seems to be one of the requirements for 1122). Any advice, as I don't want to apply and then lose $550 on a technicality.

Seeing as the 1000 places for 1122 are almost taken (as of October 2010) is it better to wait until next year to apply?

Thanks!

Hi Aussi,

You are required to provide reference letter from your employer which should state your job responsibilities. If you can make this fit for your prefrred NOC then you might be okay. There is no requirement to include job description but I have included that with my application to make my NOC more strong.

There are various speculation as to when the cap be reached and if this NOC will be there next year. Make your decision wisely!!

still apply
u can make the NOC count for 1122
Just try and get it in by the first week of November..
I doubt that 250 places will be used up in three weeks

remember the released figure are for july aug sept and some of oct

as it relates to the 550  you wont lose it
if NOC is fill, CIC will give refund

Good Luck

Hi Bregadier

It's worth a try as you will not loose much.
Application fee will not be charged and you will receive your
documents back, just in case the quota is full.
