Dear F&B & Restaurant Managers,
Let share some info here and support each other in such a long gurney to Canada.
So far for us it was long and frustrating process. We applied in Dec 2009 just before Christmas and now what we have got so far:
We received your application for permanent residence on December 22, 2009.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on April 9, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the Colombo office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the Colombo office on April 14, 2010. The Colombo office may contact you.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on November 2, 2010
Now we tried to change our mailing address but we got reply that they can't found our file.
So maybe someone was more successful or have similar problems like us, please write your stories. Maybe if all get together time will pass more faster ;-)))))

Dear Friends,
I applied in November, 2010. Recently I got PER from CIC and said my file will be transferred to VO (London). When I applied, I submitted all supporting document except PCC. Now should I send my PCC to the visa office voluntarily, or wait for VO's request? Please give me you opinion.

I agreed do not send any additional doc unless it was requested by VO......

I also applied the same categories on 12th of July and my application received 18th of July 2011. Visa Office London. As our timing is almost similar and same visa office lets share each other experience or any update. Thanks.

After disappearing for almost 3 weeks , my address came back today as always with no change in status  .. I am sure it was an error or system update as so many people can't have there address appeared or disappeared on same day without any system flaw. |

Hi guys,
My application under NOC 0631 reached CIC on 22.09.11. Long way to go for me. DD encashment and PER/ NER process was pretty faster in M2 than in M3. It seems, M3 process is very slow.

Thanks for asking. Yes we found it after sending email Mr. Kenney in Ottawa. Apparently problem was that we did not received our 2nd AOR with secondnd file number, and all inquiries been sent with the fist file number from Sydney NS. So Colombo replied twice that they could not track our file. It was shocking, but then I read in this forum that we can sent our concern directly Mr. Kenney office, so I did and they replied within 5-6 days saying that new address been noted and our file in Colombo. It was big relive for me. And after few days Colombo replied with new file number. So now we just waiting, waiting and waiting for MR. I think they (Colombo VO) got upset that I sent email to Minister directly and not processing our file now  ... Regards, Marvik |

Thanks. I am expecting something very soon! Payment mode was BD. By this time I contacted end of last month when six weeks is passed. Reply was after 11 days your "case is awaiting for initial assessment." Good luck for you and pray for me.
