Hi, I am going to apply under the NOC 0631 category and have just been told by my consultant that the restaurant where I was a Restaurant Manager, needs to have at least 50 employees. I think that is next to impossible as very rarely do restaurants have so many employees, only resorts and five star hotels have that many employees.

Can u confirm if the size of the cafeteria/hotel/restaurant matters?

Thanks.

you can see the NOC 0631- Restaurant Manager responsibilities, where nothing mention about number of staff members. You can just check with your duties/responsibilities to match.

Seems like you consulted with a wrong consultant. No where it is mentioned that the restaurant/ hostipal/ office/ college /company/ firm/other institutions should have "X" number of employees only then experience would be counted.

your consultant must be having some doubts about your occupational claim, that is why he cautioned you. though there is no requirement of such attributes...........however, if there is something fishy, your VO might reject your claim.

I think your consultancy is fixing to close his business thats why he is giving you these misleading information. Even five stars hotel doesn't have that many people just to work in their restaurant. They will go bankrupt in few days.  Grin Grin Grin

hello guys,
I would like to know some information regarding my husband work experience. he has a work experience of around 3 yrs as a restaurant manager in Nepal. But his study is in computer Science and has done masters. will this effect this eligibility or not.
he is about to give his ielts also and is good in english. so his overall score will be more then 70 if he claims points for master in computer.
Please let me know.
eagerly waiting for your reply.
or does he need same work experience as his education to apply.
