I am curious Anybody applied under FSW as a 2171, Did he/she got application packet back?

What if your H1B filed as Systems Analyst and working as a Senior Systems Analyst and Project Manager? Will that be okay to apply and classify self as 0213?

I have not applied under FSW, so, I won't be able to answer that question.

Your second question, I think you should be fine going with 0213 as long as you are working as Project Manager for at least 1 year. I do not think there is anything to do with the H1B filing and job titles at that time as long as you can get a reference letter that says that you have been working as PM for at least one year and your duties (more than 50%) match with what the NOC 0231 has.

If your H1B is on Systems Analyst I would suggest you to apply to 2171 since it is pretty similar, and I think most of the people here have done that.

The reason I said to go with NOC 0213 is that I thought he is talking about applying under FSW, not AINP. 2171 is not on the list of 38 occupations for FSW. If he is talking about the AINP route, then 2171 is just fine and I got my nomination for that NOC too. Thanks.

Do you know the difference between a Sr. System Analyst vs a Project Manager ? How would you justify the roles and responsibilities ?

They will not go by what NOC you specify. AINP will evaluate your current role and experience and check under what NOC you are suitable for.

If your job duties match that of a 0213 manager, you can apply under that NOC but be aware that if you just copy the job duties from the NOC website for your letter and your work visa really says systems analyst, you may not have a very good chance to get through.  You have to prove to immigration that your job duties are really that of a 0213 manager if you want to have a chance.  Everybody and their dog is trying to get in under 0213 so they are aware and they are checking.  Doesn't hurt to try it through.  Just so you know a lot of other people are trying it too.

Thats correct, I tried Applying under 0213 for FSW (CIC)with my 6+ Yrs of exp, even though i worked as Lead / Module Lead with Bachelors and Masters from IIT. They send me a letter saying that, i am not eligible and suggested to got for any PNP or Employer scheme.
Initially they deducted my check for CAD$ 1100, then they send me a check for the same with in 3 weeks of rejection,
then I have applied for AINP and waiting for the File# n Nomination...
