In the CanadaVisa website, I found this text under a section for obtaining a work permit:

For Foreign Individuals:

Have you secured an offer of employment in Canada? Does your job offer require you to obtain a Canadian work visa (work permit)?


Under what cases would you not need a work permit? If you are a Permanent Resident?
