You shouldnt wait that long. You can send a status request to VO after your medical result was submitted for 3 months. Not too late to do it now.

I did submit case specific enquiry twice already to the buffalo office. In fact they replied back on the very same day "your application is in process. we do not need any action from youright now". Please keep correspondence to minimum .

Same situation here, mine even worse than you guys, my application was received in February 11, 2011. And my medical was done on Aug 12 2011 and they received on the first week of October ( Not remembering the exact date), the application had been reviewed since Aug 23, 2011. Almost four months.... Now I'm starting to panic, will it be approved? My christmas gift for this year is to get the PPR!!

Its quite unfortunate really that early 2011 applicants hv to wait for this long. All we can do is to wait hoping to hear from them very soon !

i did mail them.............!! they replied back saying ' your application in queue for review''

so waiting. i will wait untill january first week.

after that i will try through MP [ MEMBER OF PARLIMENT] .............!!

Do you have an update? I am on the same boat. My medical was sent on August 26. I haven't received any updates from CIC after that. Did you try through your MP?

woah.....MP, you guys are freakin out.... there's no need to involve MP at this stage,unless it has been 2 years since you submitted your application. I suggest order CAIPS/GCMS right away!

Guys,

My case is much more worse than yours. My PR application was received in Feb 2011. My medical results were send to Ottawa on Aug 16. However, my eCas does not show any note regarding the medical exam. It just shows that my application was received in Feb 2011. I called the CIC yesterday to check if the medical has been received by Ottawa office or not. She said that since your file is in Buffalo, we do not have access to see if your medical has been received or not!!! It is weird!!!
Also I sent two email to Buffalo regarding my application in Nov. and Dec.; they did not replied to my enquiry.  Embarrassed


Any comment or suggestion? I applied for CAIPS note yesterday but I know it takes at least 1 month to get it!

Sent my Meds Aug11, ECAS states (as of late Oct) 'Medicals received', since then no word and/or changes...
 
Anyone else in the same boat have any words of advice?

Same situation as yours still no progress. In fact to make things worse my file has been transferred to Seattle on the 9th of this month.
