Hello All,
After reading the comments of the users on this forum for a long time I decided to join it myself. I guess it gives you a sense of content that there are other people in the same situation.
Talking about my case my PR application was received by the Buffalo Office on April 1st of this year and my medicals were received by the Ottawa Office on 26th August 2011. After that I havn't heard anything from the Consulate. E cas is showing medicals received since Oct 6.
Usually this is what the procedure looks like for permanent resident applications, quoted from the Buffalo Office website;
"it normally takes 3 months after our medical office receives the medical examination results from the Designated Medical Practitioner before we will contact you regarding the next stage of your application"
Is anyone in the same situation? It will be nice to get a feedback.

We are in the same situation except we applied December 2010 and our Medicals were received august 13th. We have heard nothing since when we sent a query 3 months after our Medicals we were just told case was in process :-(

I'm in the same boat, I got my medicals requested in end of August and I did them in the second week of September. My e-cas shows that medicals have been received and that they started processing my application in the end of October. It is end of November and I still didn't hear anything. I guess some cases get processed much faster for some reason.

I realized applications for PR submitted after 18th July 2011 are being processed really fast as CPP Ottawa is taking care of them.
Mine went to Buffalo. So far no RRPF or Passport request.
Fingers crossed for all those who are still waiting and Congratulations to the ones who got it !

There are only two updates on my e-cas. First one is "We have recieved your application on May 27/11" and the second one got updated somewhere near Nov 17-18 "We have recieved your medical results". Nothing after that. It will be 2 months on Dec 11/11 ever since CIC recieved my Medicals from DMP. Hopefully something happens before Christmas holidays.

I am also in the sameboat...... medical send on Sep 27 and website updated with medical received on 17th Nov but still no response.....
My heart rate is going up and up as the days are passing.....

I have the same situation I've done my medical September 20,2011 they received September 29 until now I'm still waiting for the reply.. I just notice that cic in Ottawa is much faster than the buffalo office.hope we heard soon..:)let's cross our finger and pray.

I'm in the worst situation of all.
My medical request was on August 17th, sent my medical on September 3rd, Ecas updated on October 4th, and no news so far. It's been almost 4 months.
