Good Day!
I would like to ask if for example my application in a university that I have chosen was already accepted, is it possible that my visa application will no longer in need of any show money? A consultancy agency told me that I can have a student permit with an off-campus work permit even though I would just enroll in a 6 month program offered in that school (including the ESL program). Is it possible? Thank you in advance. Smiley

You must show a bank balance that covers your first year tuition, living expenses and travel expenses to be approved. If you don't show a bank balance - expect a refusal.

You will not qualify for an off campus work permit with only a six month course. You consultant is either talking about a different type of work permit or he's lying to you.

Your consultant doesn't know a word about Canada visa, don't pay him.

1. Funding: "You must prove that you can support yourself and the family members who accompany you while you are in Canada"

You have to show bank balance for getting study permit, off campus work permit is available only after 6 month + 45 days of application processing...

BUt what if, I got only the On-campus work permit? does it change anything? thank you again in advance.

You don't require any permit for On-campus work.

On campus work permit is by default , once u complete 6 months u can apply for off campus...
