My file is at the CPP-Ottawa but processing is done at Buffalo. Application filed: March 9th, 2011 AOR and Medical Request: August 17th, 2011 Medical done: August 20th, 2011 Medical sent: September 3rd, 2011 Ecas updated as "Medical have been received" on October 6th, 2011 I heard that people usually hear for PPR soon after the ecas shows this status, but I haven't heard anything yet. My doctor says the results were fine. My criminal records are clean as well. I don't know where the delay is coming from....  |

Check your junk mail. Hopefully you havent deleted anything since Sept. I got PPR in Aug but I have never seen the email. I guess it went to my junk mail.

Nope, not in junk mail.
My DMP said that there's nothing wrong with my health.
Considering the fact that I've lived in only one country with no criminal records, if this delay is due to background check, I think it's taking unusually a long time....

Our Medicals were sent august 13th and we haven't heard anything either! The dr said our Medicals were fine and we have no criminal record I don't understand what is taking so long either

CIC is requesting medicals much earlier in the process than they used to, consequently you should not expect to have your application finalized right after medicals.

Also on the same boat.... did medicals August 25 and havnt heard anything since then... ecas shows medicals received as well.. so you are not alone....

Just a thought " Why don't you guys order CAIPS and see what happens?". I mean it should state what kinda correspondence has been done. i just sent my medicals and i am goign to wait for at least 3 weeks and then ordering my CAIPS to chekc the progress and see what happens!

Any of you guys/girls who completed your medicals in august had any luck with regards to receiving your PPR from the buffalo office? completed my medical aug 19, but still no word!
for the last 5weeks my status @ CIC has stated medical results received...
Any words of advice?

I got my GCMS notes early November, and I passed medical, criminality, and security. All that is left is the issuance of visa and I have no idea why it is taking so long....

Did you also pass your eligibility on your GCMS notes. I know many people who got their passport requests have seen "ppt request upon receipt of medicals" did the VO write that in your notes? |

There are different sections for Eligibility. On the 3rd page where brief section is available for each category, eligibility section is blank. However, after a few pages where you can see details of Eligibility section, I see "Passed".

Ok that's good, they most likely will update your file with a passport request date when next it's reviewed. |

Well...the problem is that the "Due Date" of my Eligibility is August 15th, 2012 which is 1 year after the medical request (August 17th, 2011). I really hope they review it before it's close to August 15th, 2012.
RPRF paid, and all the other categories are "passed"
