Hello Friends,

I am here to get help from you guys.  One of my friends applied for PR to Canada in year 2008 in fast track visa but at the same time, CIC changes their occupation list and they did not consider his case and sent his cheque back.  Later in April, 2010 he again applied under Federal Skilled Category and under different occupation than first one.  He sent his initial application to Nova Scotia but till date, he has not received any response from CIC.  He has already sent them lots of emails but all in vain.  No response from them.  Please guide guys, can we contact via phone as well and where?

Plz reply
Thanks in advance

Go to the website and enter an email request for information.  This is a new system and it might work better than the way you tried before.  No one seems to have had much success through phone calls as they go to a Call Centre that deals quite generally with questions.  Has your friend had the fees cashed yet?  Wish him luck.

Let him try sending a registered mail or thru courier. It shouldn't take that long for Nova Scotia to answer.

Cheers
