Dear All,

I am new here.
I applied for the Canadian PR in July this year (2011). I sent my application with all the details, my IELTS and all to the Canadian Address. I applied from Delhi India.

The problem is I have not heard anything so far from them. No acknowledgement no reciept and nothing.

I am not sure if this is going anywhere or not.

Any body with similar experience from India? Delhi?

My dear Ankur,

Hope you might have sent the papers by courier. Did you check the delivery with tracking #  of the courier.?.

dear in my case...my docs reached there on 10th august-2011....but still no receipt no e-mail.....

if you have applied by courier than check u r tracking number ......in mu case mr.mike received courier ...

Yes, I did check the courier details and my application was received by some guy m not able to recall.
What I am simply asking is that is this case case with everyone in India that they have not got any communication so far? Or m I the only one. I think my application reached then in beginning of august.

My agent tells me that if my application would bot have been accepted they would have sent my drafts back. So can I safely assume that I should simply wait. I also read somewhere that we in India do not get any AOR?

Mohanankur,

Did you apply under FSW1? If yes, which is the NOC that you filed the application? This will help others to assist you better .
As the application reached CIC in the month of July, you can send an enquiry email to find the status as it is 6+ weeks already since they recieved the app .

I have applied in the Business Consultant Category. Like the Federal Skilled Worker Visa. My application should have been recieved in the beginning of August. I checked with the Courier guys the name of the person I am not able to recall at the moment.

Please can you give me pointers?

Guess what, I just got to know that my drafts aRe also not cleared so far from the bank. Kind of a worrying situation. Can anybody experts here throw some light?

if your category like Nursing or  else have already reached capacity (500) in that case ...i dont think CIC will consider our application for processing .......they will send it back

according to my knowledge even Indian people are receiving AOR .......generally 3 months is the processing time for AOR for Indian applicant
hope you and me both will get AOR soon
