Hi, you do not need to send wedding photos because marriage contract or other documentary proof legally acceptable in your country of origin should suffice. 

Now, it would be a different story if the VO asks to see photos and this could only mean that the VO is casting some doubt on the legitimacy of your marital status. 

Unless required by the VO, do not send anything other than those requirements required at time of submission of application.  Do not submit anything that has not been asked. 

Usually they asked pics to ensure about the marriage is real or fake. it doesn't mandatory to provide marriage pics all time. because there are lots of people who dont have the opportunity to marry formally. but the marriage is real which is supported by some other photos (which is also asked by the VO) of outing, and other social programs. also the marriage docs and duration are a factor to make them believe. By the way, they also asked for a cover letter to explain the cuase.
