No letter received

Hi, I sent in my papers to sponsor my wife and the Mississauga CPC signed for the package on July 15th.

I have not received a letter confirming they received the package as of today, August 12. 

I am assuming they are backed up due to the postal strike.

Is this normal??

Should I do something??

they don't notify you that they received it, they'll notify you when they make a decision.

Unless you sent it by courier or registered post, in which case the delivery service will help you track the shipment till it reaches the destination.

I also sent my package in July, on the 8th to be exact, via UPS. I tracked the shipment using UPS tracking number. I checked the delivery on UPS' website until the receptionist at 2 Robert Speck Parkway signed for it. So it was recorded as being received on July 12, 2011 at 8:00 a.m.

Since then, I haven't received any notification from CPC-M but that's because they haven't even looked at the application yet. Only when they review the app and make a decision on it, would they send (email or post) a notification.

they dont send confirmation as well they are working on June 17th application

they will notify u later,,,wen they made a decision dat u are gud enough to sponser aa person...they will issue ur cliet id in dat letter

 so wait and b patient,,,,strike effected alot

Hi all,

I am also in the same situation. CPC received my documents on 13th July and its 21Aug today but I haven't heard anything since then.
I'm not sure of the strike but the CIC website has updated the processing time to 55 days n they are currently processing the applications received on 21 June.

Has anyone, who sent the application on approx same dates, received the sponsorship evaluation letter?
