Ok I got a letter back, saying that my no interview is required and my medical records have been received.  So I guess i'm just waiting on the approval.  Can anybody tell me about in estimate how close I am to being a PR?  I am so anxious I can taste it, LOL.  It seems everything is in order.  Could it be any day now or what?  My visa office is the Buffalo office I am being sponsored by my wife which is a Canadian Citizen.  Can anybody tell me maybe a personal experience that they were at this same point and it took about how long maybe?

Thanks,  Any info would be great.  I'm ready to be a Permanent Resident.

It can go very quickly from this point, if your case is very straight-forward.  But Buffalo is notorious for being non-communicative, and if there is any complication with your file, you'll wait with no word from them.

We also got a letter within the first couple of weeks after Buffalo received our file saying that initial assessment had been completed, our interview had been waived, and medicals were received.  But there was a complication with our file that ended up delaying processing for ten months and resulted in refusal.  So - as with everything - "it ain't over until the lady sings".  Try to relax and be patient - I'm wishing better luck for you than we had.  Good Luck.
