Hello, I would really deeply appreciate your help in my issue.
We did our medicals on 28th Dec. 09. And it has been 75 days now. Last week I was very concerned and emailed the embassy in Ankara about the medicals. Today I got and answer saying "We have your medicals results. You will be shortly contacted by our office."    I was happy to read this, but still there is no update in the e-cas.
So now I'm concerned, do you think there is a problem in the medical results? Why haven't they updated the e-cas yet? If there are no problems in the med. results...when will we get a PPR?
Please, every little advice is appreciated.

Hi
If you are a fast track applicant, your status does not change until a decision is made. I mean, receipt of medical results will not be seen on line before your status changes to decision made. I guess you are nor going trough security checks and will receive PPR upon completion. How long it takes? Nobody knows, it is a case bay case issue.

Hi Ankara_cafe,

No matter how long it takes even after the CIC has received your medicals the e-Cas is updated to medicals received from In-Process only after your security clearance is complete, this includes your background check. Once your status is updated to "Medicals Received by our office" then you should expect your PPR in a couple of days. Till then there is no change of status. In my case and several others I have seen in the forum this is what has been done, I saw a change in my status after 8 months of completing my Medicals, I don't mean that it will take that long, its all on a case to case basis.

Rgds

There is also the possibility that the e case will not change even when you receive the ppr.
When it comes to immigration processing and update, no one can tell.

Good luck
