I m planning to apply for skilled worker immigration within two days, but now only I realised there is no company seal on my Fixed deposit receipt and POF letter. I wonder is it mandatory to have a bank seal if it is signed, dated and on bank letter head. I am in UK at present and my Bank is in India. Do they accept the letter as it hasnt have a company seal. is it a risk?
Thanks.....

In my opinion.. there Must be Bank Seal. As there is no problem with Bank...they usually put seal on it.

Mayank

you should ask the balance certificate to bank.....sometimes this certificate is issued combined of Saving/Current accounts and FDR's etc. or may issue separately. You should simple write letter addressing to bank manager in which you specifically write the name of person to whom you are giving the authority to receive these certificates.

Some private bank also give this facility online to apply for balance certificates.....other government banks i m not sured.

In CBS system of banking now days private bank donot issue FDR at branches but these are issued by Head office and reached through post.....there would be electronic seal which u r not identifying.Ask the bank for balance certificate.

Well its up to your NOC . If still it is left and if you are able to get new with bank seal then...that will be per fact. To support you letter then i advise you to include 6 months Bank statement with it. I hope Bank. Sta.is available to you via online banking...

Regards,
Mayank

dont worry. I got PER and mine(POF) had no bank seal either. it was on bank letter head and signed by manager.
i asked them about bank seal and they said it's not needed in bank certificate.
by the way, i also sent 6 months bank statement which had bank seal

Hi Dr. Hasib,
I think he should get the bank to put the seal , because it all depends on the mode of the Visa officer. Prevention is better than cure.

Hope it helps.

Well said, though it worked with hasib, it doesn't mean it will work with all.

I agree, you better do this. You don't want to face unnecessary delays. The apps are delayed for nothing in the first place. Put a clear and straightforward application.
