I have Class C - I am not sure about the numbers - as long as it is accepted and converted into a regular license I am OK.

Provinces all have their own licensing systems but in AB Class 5 is the regular license, class 7 is the learner, class 6 is a motorbike, class 4 is a taxi or bus w. less than 24 ppl, class 3 is truck, class 2 is bus, class 1 is everything, something like that.  In Ontario they have letters where G is a regular license but their learners is called G1 and their probationary license after G1 is G2.

Same here but I think more in to Sept or October, are landing in Alberta? or BC? I read your post about the apartment I'm in the same way, I don't like apartments and with kids...you know what I'm talking about, I know at the beginning you rent one for a while.

May be I will land at the same time as yours, I do not want to go in winter as cold weather is too much to take all of a sudden, its is better to take it gradually.

BC is too expensive even for a apartment and job ratio is almost same as Alberta. It is beautiful no doubt, but I am not looking at the beauty right now, I am looking what is feasible for ME. I may land in BC and than move on to Alberta. I will move my stuff through Atlas they seems to be good and reasonable in price.

And before doing all that, I will go on vacation for a month or so in the US, who knows if I will have time for vacation if I ever move to Canada.
