No acknowledgementt

Hi,
This is for one of my friends who have submitted for immigration to canada as skilled worker and paid fees also during last february. but till now there is no acknowledgement or file number assigned.
Whom should we enquire about this case. Pls provide me any ph or email address .

Where was the application send off??? Did your friend deal with someone online that did the papers or did they do the application themselve?? If inside of Canada you can contact the call center  1-888-242‑2100 if not in Canada then contact the visa office closest to you for information... Here is the list of visa offices and if you click on the name of the city you can get contact information http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions.asp

well they submitted application for the skilled worker class and this has been submitted by themselves .

This application is posted to central intake office in sydney canada and they have the receipt of the airway bill that application has been received by CIO. but till now they didnt get any file number. How much time it takes for generating file no. and sending acknowledgement.

It is too long, the decision must have been made by now.  They probably received the "120 day" letter by email, and it either was not received or went into the spam folder.  They should contact the Call Centre

We never received any mails from canadian immigration , we receive only letters regarding the status and file number etc from CIO. For further enquiries particular visa office can be reached with filenumber .

we didnt get any acknowledgement till now. This has been 16 months after sending the application.
Tried to call the number given but always busy. Can we get any email address so that we can send proof of the acknowledgement and further enquire about the application
