Hi,

I have my "Nikkah Nama" in urdu and also got "Marriage Certificate" which is already in urdu and english. Do I need to send both? or I can only send Marriage Certificate?

If I send Nikkah Nama in urdu one with english translation, isn't it the same thing as " Marriage Certificate" ??

second question:

Do I need  to stamp my photocopies from notary public office and also from foreign affairs?  If I just stamp from notary office, will  it work?

Hi,

You can only send your original Marriage certificate in English. No need to send your Nikkah Nama as it is basically the same document but in Urdu. Make sure it has all the signatures required along with Government stamps. I would suggest you to get it stamped from foreign affairs as well.

If you just get them stamped from notary office for certified translation & certified copies, it would work as well but better get it stamped from foreign affairs if its possible.

You need to send both marriage certificate in english and original nikkah nama in urdu, i have only send the marriage cerrificate but later on CHC-ISB requested for original nikkah nama in urdu.

No need to attest copies from foreign affair only just need to attest with notery public.
