Nikah Nama - Change of date

The date of marriage was mistakenly entered wrong. It happened to be the date my sponsor left Pakistan, so would it be a problem? Can we change the date on nikah nama? If we could, how to proceed about it?

not a big issue...get the molvi who performed your nikah prepare a new nikah nama...and don't forget to get it registered with NADRA

Is it legal for the nikah registrar to discard the previous nikah nama and create a new one? Wouldn't that disturb the serials numbers on nikah forms?
Why register it with NADRA? There is no such requirement in the guide to immigration on cic website.
